YouTube Gear List - Cameras, Lenses, Accessories
Updated: November 2023
This setup was used for many of my earlier videos and still holds up remarkably well today. Simple, reliable, and easy to work with—especially for YouTube and blog content.
Camera & Lenses
- Sony a6300 mirrorless camera – compact, dependable, and a great all-rounder.
- Sony E 10–18mm F4 OSS wide-angle lens – ideal for studio shots and tight spaces.
- Sony E 50mm F1.8 OSS portrait lens – excellent for talking-head shots and shallow depth of field.
Earlier setup
- Canon DSLR (now retired, but it still works perfectly well).
