The most iconic climb in cycling – reimagined in layered wood.
This handcrafted 3D wood map showcases Alpe d’Huez, the legendary ascent featured in countless pro races and known worldwide for its twisting switchbacks and brutal gradients.
Built using real topographic and GPX data, the route is laser-cut into multiple wood layers — capturing the terrain’s dramatic depth, rivers, roads, and elevation profile in a bold, modern display. The orange-painted route snakes from the base at La Garde to the summit above 1,800 meters, with stats engraved directly into the map.
Perfect for cyclists, collectors, or anyone who’s ridden (or dreams of riding) this legendary French climb.
