Introducing Custom Wooden Triathlon Maps
I'm excited to introduce a new collection of handcrafted Triathlon Maps, created to celebrate one of the greatest achievements in any athlete's journey.
Unlike marathon or cycling maps, each triathlon map brings together all three disciplines. Your swim, bike and run routes are carefully combined into a single piece of wall art, creating a lasting reminder of race day and the months of dedication that made it possible.
A Dedicated Swim Inset
One feature unique to my triathlon maps is a dedicated swim inset map. While the cycling and running routes are shown together on the main map, the swim course is presented separately, ensuring each part of your race can be clearly seen and appreciated.
This approach keeps the design clean while celebrating every stage of your triathlon journey.
Personalised for Your Achievement
Every map is made to order and can be personalised with your own race details, including:
- Your name
- Race date
- Finish time
- Bib number
- Optional finisher's medal
The route is highlighted in Strava orange, while the map combines a natural wood land layer with engraved contour lines, a blue water layer and subtle grey roads to create a balanced, easy-to-read design.
First Completed Map: IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See
The first map in the collection celebrates IRONMAN 70.3 Zell am See, one of the world's most beautiful middle-distance triathlons. Surrounded by the Austrian Alps, the course combines a stunning lake swim, spectacular mountain cycling and a memorable run to the finish.
This project also introduced the dedicated swim inset, which will become a standard feature on future triathlon maps.
