I’m excited to share a brand-new addition to my handcrafted art collection: laser-cut wooden golf course maps, starting with one of Japan’s most iconic courses – Gotemba Golf Club in Shizuoka Prefecture.

These unique pieces are more than just decor — they’re personal tributes to the game we love, captured in layered wood with intricate detail.

What Makes These Maps Special?

Each map is designed, cut, painted, and assembled by hand in my Kanagawa studio. I use only wood — no acrylic — to highlight the natural texture and craftsmanship of the piece.

Each map includes:

The course name and location, engraved in the header and footer
Laser-cut water features, roads, and elevation details
Layered fairways, greens, trees, and buildings, painted in muted golf tones
Hole markers with engraved numbers
A beautifully engraved compass rose to orient the layout

The result is a framed A3 artwork that honors the design and flow of the course. Every map is made to order and comes ready to hang, with a sawtooth hook and optional string included.

As with all my work, these pieces are handmade in Japan with attention to detail, character, and presentation. I’ve designed every layer with laser precision – from the painted basewood to the elevated contours of each hole.
