Celebrate one of Japan's most iconic coastal destinations with this handcrafted Kamakura wooden layered map, designed and made in Japan from precision laser-cut wood. Each map combines detailed cartography with natural materials to create a unique piece of wall art.

The map extends north to Ōfuna, east to Zushi, west to Enoshima, and includes the beautiful island of Enoshima. The engraved land layer features contour lines, railway lines, and train stations, including the famous Enoden Line that runs between Kamakura and Fujisawa. The route passes the well-known railway crossing made famous in the manga and anime Slam Dunk.

The map is built from multiple layers:

  • Water layer: Blue-painted ocean, coastline and rivers.
  • Land layer: Natural wood engraved with contour lines, railway lines and stations.
  • Road layer: Major roads painted in subtle grey for clarity.

Custom wooden location pins can be added to mark places that are special to you, such as where you stayed, your favourite temple or beach, or anywhere you visited during your time in Kamakura.

Whether displayed at home or given as a thoughtful gift, this wooden map is a lasting reminder of Kamakura's temples, coastline, beaches and railway heritage.
