Celebrate Britain’s lifeboat heritage with this handcrafted Fleetwood Lifeboat Station wooden map, designed and made by Mr. Tim in Japan.
This layered artwork captures Fleetwood, its harbour and the surrounding Lancashire coastline, combining detailed geographic engraving with a tribute to the lifeboat crews who have served this stretch of the Irish Sea.
The map extends along the coast between Morecambe to the north and Blackpool to the south, placing Fleetwood and its lifeboat station within the wider coastal landscape.
About the Map
- Water layers: Deep blue represents the open Irish Sea, while a lighter blue highlights the shallower water along the coastline.
- Land & roads: Minor roads and geographic details are engraved into the natural wood, with major roads cut as a separate grey layer.
- Shannon class lifeboat: An engraved Fleetwood Shannon class lifeboat adds maritime detail to the artwork.
- Station location: A small wooden magnifier marker identifies the location of Fleetwood Lifeboat Station.
Personalisation
Add an optional personal engraving to make the map especially meaningful.
This could include a recipient’s name, service dates, thank you message, retirement message or short dedication. Leave the personalisation blank if you would like the standard Fleetwood design.

After you order, I will create a digital mock-up for your approval before production begins. You can check any personalisation and request changes if needed.
