Our songs were written with small classes in mind, but easily scale up when required.
Modelling
Invest time modelling the song. Do not expect the students to learn all the words and actions in the first lesson. Give it time, and praise those that do well.
Big Smiles
Singing skills are not essential. A big smile and plenty of gusto will get you far!
Volunteers Please
Don't be shy about asking for volunteers. Indeed, Japanese staff in particular really do want to be seen to help you but will not ask you. Provide clear instructions and lots of thank-you's.

How to Sing ESL Songs in Class to Students

Tips
The one piece of key advice we can give you as Teachers is to always present these songs with the biggest smile you have and total enthusiasm!

It really doesn’t matter at all if you have absolutely no singing ability. The children will love to see you having fun and doing your best. They will soon join in and you will be rewarded by their efforts.
