School library printers and cameras

A selection of great gear that I have actually purchased and use regularly in my library. I highly recommend the Fuji Instax camera !

Instant Camera

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
The students love using this !

If any student has been very helpful, read an exceptional amount of books, is responsible for part of the library and so on I like students and indeed staff to know what a great job they have done. I have the students friend take a photo, and I write some praise.

Label Printer

Oh my ! I’m not quite sure how the library functioned without this.

Any label for anything, large or small.
• I used this to put custom genre icons on every single book in my library
• Want to be the English Departments favourite librarian? Make custom spine labels for each teacher so that students don’t accidentally borrow their books.

An updated model each year, currently:

Photoshop Elements

A one time payment - no subscription fees. It has all the features of photoshop that you will actually use. I never found I was missing anything.

Might as well get the Teacher version tools it’s a little cheaper

Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 & Premiere Elements 2020 Student and Teacher [PC Online code]
$79.99

Scanner

Quite surprisingly these are quite cheap, unlike most library hardware.

Great to have additional units for end of financial year check or a portable check-out station.

Handheld Barcode Scanner

Book Art

Book Art - a fantastic what to repurpose old books.

Caution !
You may not not want to let younger students take this home in case they try to be helpful and repurpose their parents current books.
Make it very clear which books in the library are for cutting up.
