Mark is an award winning education technology expert, keynote speaker and independent consultant, a passionate advocate for the purposeful use of technology. He led the teaching and learning and delivery on one of the world’s biggest 1:1 rollouts at Clevedon School which has led to him working with schools all over the world. Mark is the author of the best selling ‘Perfect ICT Every Lesson’. With two decades of classroom experience, he knows the power and importance of student voice in developing sound practice having co-founded the Digital Leader Network in the UK. Mark is also an Apple Distinguished Educator, Google Certified Teacher and expert in mobile learning.

Best selling book which has topped the education charts on Amazon features ways to successfully embed the use of technology across the curriculum linked to all phases of education.


One best thing - digital leaders (Author)

Mark was asked by Apple as part of his role as an Apple Distinguished Educator to write a short book on his ‘One Best Thing’. Student ambassadorship through student digital leaders is an area that is passionate to Mark, so in this book you’ll find ideas on how to get yourself started with digital leaders in your school.


Augmented reality in education (Author)

This book sees Mark writing about the incredibly innovative and creative use of augmented reality in education. Featuring a number of key Apps and techniques to create and utilise the best of augmented reality.


Don't change the lightbulbs (Contributor)

Mark’s section in the book focuses on the role of the connected educator. The book for which all proceeds go to charity is a real testament to the power of social media and the many teachers that share so freely on there.


Freaked Out ! (Contributor)

This book saw author Simon Pridham use some of Mark’s ideas about teacher confidence in using technology.
